Professional BookkeeperUnsure of what to do after high school, Shannon chose to pursue an education in culinary arts and completed the Chef Training program at Cambrian College in Ontario. After completing her practicum at the Chateau Lake Louise, she realized that becoming a chef was not what she truly desired and decided to instead pursue a career in administration. This began a 15-year journey of working in many different administrative rolls across multiple industries. Shannon has worked as the Quality Assurance Manager in the collections department of a major credit card company, an Administrative Supervisor for a Calgary based distribution company, and she managed a multimillion-dollar portfolio of condominium corporations as a Condo Manager. Throughout all these positions she has always been drawn to working with numbers, budgets, AR/AP, and reconciliations. In her role of Bookkeeper on the KBS team she is looking forward to using her extensive administrative experience while further expanding her knowledge of full cycle accounting.
When not at the KBS office, Shannon is either working on her passion project of providing remote administrative support to a small non-profit organization back in her home province of Ontario or cuddling up on the couch with her beagle Finnigan and watching Netflix.
